IAMS Coordinated Assist to World Airway Management Meeting (WAMM)

Tuoren International Exchange Program Award
 
    WAMM2019 invites International Airway Management Society (IAMS, http://www.iamshq.com) to coordinate evaluation and selection of six awards for Tuoren International Exchange Program among all WAMM2019 attendees, with each award of 2000 US dollars and an award plaque. Eligibility requirements are as followings: 1) Attendee of WAMM2019, 2). Submission of an abstract to WAMM2019, 3). Younger than 45 years old. Interested applicants should submit the completed application form and WAMM2019 abstracts to Dr. Yong Wang, the Chairman of IAMS international liaison committee, Email: yongwang@outlook.com, before July 15th 2019. The application form can be downloaded at the official website of IAMS:  http://www.iamshq.com/uploadfile/2019/0504/20190504064008695.doc. Submitted abstracts will be edited by IAMS volunteers with English as mother language and sent back to the applicants. The edited abstract should include one line at the bottom indicating the application of Tuoren Award when it is submitted to WAMM2019 website before July 29, 2019. IAMS coordinated international faculty will evaluate applications and provide scores in following divided sections: 1). Experience and achievement on the teaching, training, research and publication in the area of airway management (40%), 2). English Proficiency (30%), 3). WAMM2019 abstract (30%). Top applicants will be reviewed by  WAMM2019 abstracts selection committee and final selection of successful applicant will be determined coordinately by both WAMM2019 and IAMS award committees. The Tuoren International Exchange Program Award will be announced before or on October 1, 2019 and presented to top six applicants during WAMM2019. Well Lead Abstract Award

  WAMM2019 invites International Airway Management Society (IAMS) to coordinate evaluation and selection of four Well Lead Abstract Awards among all WAMM2019 attendees, with each award of 1000 US dollars and an award plaque. Interested applicants should submit their abstracts to Dr. Hui Qiao, the secretary of IAMS, Email: qiaohui@eentanesthesia.com before July 15th 2019. Submitted abstracts will be edited by IAMS volunteers with English as mother language and sent back to the applicants. The edited abstract should include one line at the bottom indicating the application of Well Lead ward when it is submitted to WAMM2019 website before July 29, 2019. IAMS coordinated international faculty will evaluate applications and provide scores based on the quality of study designing, execution, data analysis, and clinical implication. Final selection of successful applicants will be approved by WAMM2019 organizing committee. Well Lead Abstract Awards will be announced before or on October 1, 2019, and presented to top four applicants during WAMM2019. Tuoren International Exchange Program

    IAMS coordinate to provide a communication platform on academic activities related to airway management for experts and trainees during and around the WAMM2019, including visiting, clinical observation and academic activities in hospitals, universites or research institutes in Europe listed in the following table. The recommended duration is 1-3 days before or after WAMM2019. All travel and other necessary expenses and possible training fees (if required) shall be borne by the visitors. All visitors should abide by local laws and restrictions of the country and institute. After the visit, a questionnaire provided by IAMS should be submitted within 4 weeks for a brief summary. Host institute is responsible to provide international visitiors the invitation letters for visa purpose, information for local travel and hotels etc., as well as arrangement for hospital/institute visit, operating theater observation and other academic activities negotiated between hosts and visitors. IAMS will coordinate the Tuoren International Exchange Program, but does not collect any fee or payment for any expense. IAMS is not responsible for any loss or damage or any liability caused by accident, violation of immigration laws, travel bans or other unpredictable events (such as strikes, wars or terrorist attacks). IAMS coordinated Airbnb program in Amsterdam
 
    To facilitate participation of WAMM2019 and reduction of the cost from Asian attendees, IAMS will coordinate the accommodation at Amsterdam using Airbnb. Airbnb rental cost will be shared by the participants. Asian WAMM2019 attendees who are interested in joining Airbnb group should contact Dr. Xue Gao, Chairman of IAMS medium committee, Email: gaoxue2002@163.com Application deadline: August 24, 2019.
